Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture has scheduled supervised play, games, and field trips daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 9 through July 25 for children ages 5 to 12. Five-year-olds must have completed kindergarten.

Free summer camp this July 13-18at Camp Winona for the children of wounded, ill, injured, or fallen military service members. Camp Corral is a national, nonprofit organization founded in 2011, currently offering free summer camps in 17 states. This is a new partnership for this area this summer. Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth this summer for rigorous, fresh, and fun in-person academic programs held at 10 locations in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. CTY's three-week day and residential programs for advanced learners in grades 2-12 offer 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus social activities like talent shows and dances. CTY challenges students and connects them with an engaged community of learners from around the world. Residential students in grades 5-12 experience learning and living on a college campus. Before and after care is available for day students in grades 2-6 and lunch is included. Online programs in dynamic virtual classrooms are also enrolling.
