In a time when our youth are presented with so many choices for activities, Athens Theatre Youth Academy present an environment that is educational, fun, inclusive, welcoming, and nurturing. Watching the kids grow through the years into young adults is amazing. The skills that are taught don't stop at the stage. They learn to support their fellow actors, to help someone who is struggling, to laugh and enjoy those around them, and to experience what it's like to collaborate with others in ways they never dreamed of before. Our son loves his time at Athens Theatre Youth Academy and we are so fortunate we were introduced to it early on. We will see future stars and award winners coming from this program.
