DOH-Volusia-No-Cost School Shots Available

July 9, 2018

Parents and guardians of a child entering kindergarten or 7th grade must provide proof of immunization to enroll their child in Volusia County schools.  New students enrolling in Volusia County also must be current on immunizations.

To ensure children are ready to start the school year August 13, the Department of Health in Volusia County (DOH-Volusia) is offering low or no-cost immunizations throughout the summer. Appointments are not required for immunizations. Parents are encouraged to get their child's immunizations early to avoid longer lines later in the summer.

Immunizations are available from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at three DOH-Volusia locations:

  • Daytona Beach, 1845 Holsonback Drive
  • New Smyrna Beach: 717 W. Canal St.
  • Orange City: 775 Harley Strickland Blvd.

Parents are encouraged to bring shot records with them when requesting immunizations.

Classes resume in Volusia County Schools on Monday, August 13.

For more information on immunizations, please visit volusiahealth.com/shots or call (386) 274-0509 and select option 1.
